Is the Wooden Pole Affected by Rain and Moisture?
The Iroko and hornbeam used in our products are kiln-dried and treated with protective chemicals in specialised vacuum impregnation plants. This provides maximum protection against moisture, rain, sea salt and mould.
How Should a Wooden Parasol Be Maintained?
Applying teak/iroko wood-protective oil once a year at the start of the season revives the timber colour and extends its life. Storage under a protective cover or indoors is recommended in winter.
Are Fabric and Wood Colour Options Available?
Yes. We offer more than 30 fabric colour options. The wooden pole can be finished in natural timber, dark walnut with protective coating, or light teak tones.
