Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Difference Between Articulated-Arm and Cassette Awnings?

On an articulated-arm awning the fabric remains exposed when retracted. On a cassette awning the fabric and arms retract fully into a protective cassette housing. The cassette system lasts longer and offers a cleaner visual finish.

Can a Wind Sensor Be Fitted to Awnings?

Yes. Wind and sun sensors can be added to our Somfy and Becker motorised automation systems. When wind intensifies, the system retracts automatically to protect the awning.

How Does the Site Survey Process Work?
